Template talk:Unimpl Page: Difference between revisions

I'm inclined to change the wording of the yellow alert box at the top of this template. At best "This result set should be accurate to within fifteen minutes of the last viewing." is now misleading. My hesitation is due to a lack of understanding regarding the various layers of caching that Miraheze must have in place. I'm not sure what, if any, delay there could be between adding a task solution and an "unimplemented" page being updated. Any thoughts? --Jgrprior (talk) 18:25, 15 April 2023 (UTC)
: Caching from Miraheze, or from Mediawiki itself affecting only anonymous users? Look at this discussion forum.ada-lang.io/t/rossetta-code-task-find-unimplemented-tasks Manuelgr (talk) 14:49, 19 May 2024 (UTC)
:: I've heard others talk of different caching behaviour for logged in and anonymous users, so I'm sure it does play a part. But I've experienced overly aggressive caching even when logged in and resorted to a manual purge on some unimplemented pages. --Jgrprior (talk) 19:08, 16 June 2024 (UTC)
