Re: Recent edits to Even or Odd

Welcome to RosettaCode, you appear to be a new contributor. This is some feedback on one of your recent contributions.

You indicated that you got the C# example to "Work properly". Where in the task description does it indicate that this task should produce output? If one examines the other language examples in this task, one finds many example code snippets, not fully formed programs. Although many tasks indicate that a working program be presented, not all do, so the task description ought to be read closely.

Your replacement code only illustrated a single way of determining evenness or oddness. The code you deleted showed the other ways that the task description prescribed.

I urge you to revert your changes.

If you wish to provide "working program" context to utilizing the code present before your edits, you may add a "usage example" subsection. If you would like any assistance with this, please indicate.--Enter your username (talk) 17:14, 28 July 2020 (UTC)

Hello Enter your username,
Thanks for responding! I have reverted the edit, and added added usage examples to the original program.
