I have been programming in one language or another since 1970. My current favorite language is Ada.
When earning money I currently work as a software safety engineer. The usual response to that is "how can bits hurt you?" The usual answer is that defects in [[real-time computing|real time]] control systems have created catastrophic hazards in the past, and will continue to do so unless somebody like me corrects the problems before they are injected into the code.
