|My Favorite Languages|
Currently working at SDSM&T.
I begun my journey with through programming with an Apple IIe. Starting with AppleSoft BASIC and Apple Pascal. In my profession I try to mostly stay accurate in C and Python, but I also use assembly in my work. I have lately picked up an old Apple machine and I try to get back into AppleSoft BASIC and 6502 Assembly.
I have never really tried to find that one perfect language. I early on realized that some language were inherently better than others at solving some specific problem. That is probably why I with the exception of C, don't consider myself to be higher than intermediate. I tend to stay within a particular language's strengths.
I do enjoy picking up the language of my youth once again.
