So what does everybody think - should the task be opened for solutions or should it deleted before some-one is tempted to add one? --PureFox (talk) 19:55, 13 February 2020 (UTC)
:This is a language comparison site, whereas this is a task comparison task. While I have no real objection, I cannot see it providing anything that helps compare languages or anything that Rosetta_Code/Count_examples/Full_list (main table leftmost column) does not already deliver. --Pete Lomax (talk) 08:59, 14 February 2020 (UTC)

::That's a good point about the Rosetta_Code/Count_examples/Full_list task which is probably a better guide to the relative difficulty of RC tasks than the current task would be. Even so it would be instructive to see how much correlation there is between the two.

::Also, from a language comparison perspective, the current task is not particularly hard and many languages should be able to attempt it.

::It's interesting to look at the other tasks at the bottom of the 'full list' which currently have no solutions even from the authors themselves.

::I think we both agreed that the 3 Chess sub-tasks are not suitable for RC and should be deleted. I'd also place the Weather Routing task in the same category. This is very much the province of specialist commercial software and too hard for RC.
::The Blackjack strategy task is also very hard - particularly for those who are not experts in probability - but well specified and probably do-able. --PureFox (talk) 11:13, 14 February 2020 (UTC)
