::I've now read the Scala entry closely, and I find it is mischaracterized in the discussion I referred to at the very top of this subsection. It only contains one very short (three lines) code of trial-division--based sieve, which is used as a backdrop for further discussions of the following variants, all of which are proper sieve of Eratosthenes. -- The Racket section OTOH has just 2 short proper SoEs, and three variants of trial-division sieve. -- [[User:WillNess|WillNess]] ([[User talk:WillNess|talk]]) 11:56, 11 September 2014 (UTC)
