I tried to include Rosetta Code tasks that deal with character strings that included numeric digits,   even though some   (or maybe most)   Rosetta Code language examples/entries may have elected to treat/handle the character string as numeric digits   (i.e., as a number).   The inclusion should probably include sequences that are, in fact, sequences of various flavors of character strings, whether or not most of the strings deal with the numeric part of a string.

Two related tasks for the   strings template   could be:
::*   four is magic
::*   four is the number of letters in the ....

::::::::::::::::::::Another class of related tasks would be various forms of encryption/decryption and encoding/decoding.     -- Gerard Schildberger (talk) 22:48, 5 October 2020 (UTC)
