https links in email
This is a particular discussion thread among many which consider Rosetta Code.
This is a particular discussion thread among many which consider Rosetta Code.
Summary
Use https: rather than http: links in all notification emails from rosetta code.
Discussion
Rosetta Code works much better for me with https links, so I would like all emails from rc to use https not http.
Currently after opening perhaps two thirds of pages I have to Alt-D to the address bar and insert an s, and reload.
(All attempts to login under http are met with an incorrect "cookies disabled" message, and rejected.)
Should it need a new option in user settings (I have no idea why anyone would want http links), that would be fine by me.
