Category talk:Prime Numbers

From Rosetta Code

adding to list

How does one add a Rosetta Task to this list?

Namely, "Counting in Factors". -- Gerard Schildberger (talk) 20:37, 26 October 2013 (UTC)

Adding things to a category: you put [[Category:Prime Numbers]] on the page. MediaWiki does the rest. Note that it normally doesn't show up where you add the link (MW reorganizes that to the bottom of the page) and that the {{task}} template has an optional argument which is a category to put the page in (as well as the ones for all tasks).
And I've already fixed that page properly. ☺ –Donal Fellows (talk) 08:18, 27 October 2013 (UTC)

some common errors

I've noticed that quite a few   prime number   type of Rosetta Code tasks have the category   Prime Numbers   (for a lack of a better name)   misspelled in the sense that the wrong capitalization was used.   So various ways of capitalizing the aforementioned category have been entered.   There appears to not be a method to track down those misspelled/mis-capitalized categories   (at least, as far as I know).     -- Gerard Schildberger (talk) 04:56, 28 June 2020 (UTC)
