Wow, TG has come a long way from when I used it on an old K6-200. Back then, IIRC, it only supported an isometric viewpoint, water level and a heightmap-driven palette. --[[User:Short Circuit|Short Circuit]] 18:44, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
:The TerraGen images at my homepage were done with TG 0.9. I have not done much with TG2. TG2 is much more difficult to use and it is much slower, but it can render trees and other objects, has better 3d clouds etc.
:BTW, my old Mandelbrot program (in the ''DOS Programs'' section) can display isometric view with heighmap-driven palette. I made that some time around 1985. --[[User:PauliKL|PauliKL]] 21:23, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
