Adding a variant approach, '''below''' any existing ones, is itself and interesting and constructive form of commentary, and the only kind that is needed on Rosetta Code. Other queries or suggestions can be diverted to discussion pages.

Hi Angush,

welcome to Rosetta Code. I'm glad to see you like Algol 68 and have even contributed some code. Please explain why you insist in objecting to use of library code? Also why do you have to call me a "random guy" - we're all some random guy - unless you claim to be some Algol 68 guru/maestro and even if you are the re-incarnation of Van Wijngaarden, is being rude really necessary?

I hope you will demonstrate your Algol 68 expertise by adding more solutions instead of wasting time replacing already written solutions to conform with your arbitrary rules about what is allowable as an Algol 68 program for Rosetta Code ?

Note that Rosetta Code contributions do not aspire to be canonical, and, as long as they are attempts to solve a problem, using a particular language, they should not be removed.

Adding a variant approach, below any existing ones, is itself an interesting and constructive form of commentary, and the only kind that is needed on Rosetta Code. Other queries or suggestions can be diverted to discussion pages.
