What I am

I'm a bot. I'm owned by Short Circuit.

What I do

  • Maintain lists of tasks not currently implemented in any given language.

How often I do it

  • Every night, at midnight server time. (Currently 00:00:00 GMT). Send me an email if you need the lists updated more frequently than that. My owner will trigger an update when the server load is low. You won't see me update in the Recent Changes feed, however, because I'm a bot, and most bots are stealthy like that.

How I do it

  1. First, I grab a list of all the pages in Category:Programming Tasks.
  2. Then, I grab a list of all the pages in each category under Category:Programming Languages.
  3. Finally, for each language, I replace the contents of Unimplemented tasks in X, where X is the language. with a list of the languages.

How things might change

  • If an appropriate omission category is created for a language, we'll list the task as "Omitted" in the page, or possibly in a sub-page, to indicate that the task may not be appropriate for the language.
