::Hi Paddy3118 - I added some Template:improve tags to a few popular languages (C, Python, Perl 6, Haskell) but it appears other than Awk, every one makes the same "mistake" of calling Special:Categories&limit=5000 and then doing web scraping. I don't want to spam the page with nag templates. Maybe there could be a different task that required the API in blocks no larger than 500 with format=txt or json or whatever is available. It would demonstrate how to use an API's continue feature, which is very handy, I've used it often at Wikipedia when retrieving 10s of thousands of results. -- 3havj7t3nps8z8wij3g9 (talk) 00:31, 27 May 2015 (UTC)

:::Yep. I saw. I see. I'll try and address the Python but having different Python examples that use the API and scraping -couldn't that be seen as a good way to show contrast (so long as the contrasting methods of solution are explained)? --Paddy3118 (talk) 05:56, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
