::Hi Sxpert. I'm a little confused. If this is to be a task then there needs to be a clear description of what others need to do to fulfil the task? Couldn't you write up what is happening in the examples already present? At the moment it reads more like a code repository rather than an RC task as there is no "recipe" to follow. --Paddy3118 (talk) 05:57, 16 April 2014 (UTC)

DELETE THIS!
It has been too long without anyone making it an acceptable task. I will move this to be a sub-page of the original author and remove the draft task indication sometime soon. --Paddy3118 (talk) 13:51, 2 April 2015 (UTC)

Um... --Rdm 14:43, 20 July 2012 (UTC)

Do we want to keep this page?

This isn't a (draft) task, is it? It looks like the algorithm shouldn't be publicly available (from http://www.myuremote.com/website/how-to-configure-myuremote-for-bticino-myhome-home-control/ ): "BTicino has chosen a rather strange password policy. Their own tools make a connection using a password. However, the password protocol is not publicly documented." --Andreas Perstinger (talk) 19:50, 15 April 2014 (UTC)

Fron the page history there has not been much attention to this page since it was created - and that solely by the creator. I have asked the author to contribute more. If it stays quiet then it might best be deleted, but I would want others opinion. Lets give it a few days... --Paddy3118 (talk) 22:15, 15 April 2014 (UTC)
I discused this in private and public with the bticino people and they don't seem to bother. this example also shows how attempting to do crypto by yourself when you're not a cryptographer ends up being pretty pointless (so is the ip-based limitations). the code is now used by a number of applications that connect to bticino gateways, and seems useful to a lot of people, in particular it is used by mobile applications that need to access the gateway from 3g networks. --Sxpert (talk) 23:59, 15 April 2014 (UTC)
Hi Sxpert. I'm a little confused. If this is to be a task then there needs to be a clear description of what others need to do to fulfil the task?
