::I'm not sure whether that is the objective of rosettacode, because this is a chrestomathy. If the task has a good implementation that can be achieved through the use of operators, then we should be able to use them here. This could possibly be a challenge for a programming challenge site, but I don't know of one off hand. Alternatively, we could possibly make the restrictions optional.
