::::: If we are concerned about [[User:Short_Circuit|Short Circuit]] and site stability, probably the right thing to do would be to set up a(some) mirror(s) of the site. I imagine that Short Circuit will be around for many years. But the skills and motivations involved in running a mirror are closely related to the sort of skills needed to keep the site up.
