The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an international group of standards organizations from 157 different countries. ANSI is the member body from the United States. ISO has standardized many things including aspects of film, the ISO CD file system, several programming languages (including Ada, a variant of BASIC, C#, C++, Eiffel, Pascal, and Prolog), and several media formats.
