I am a graduate student in Cognitive Psychology at University of California, Riverside (UCR) desperately avoiding my Quals reading. After reading a comment on Slashdot I came to Rosetta Code to help out with the entries for R.

-I am a graduate student in Cognitive Psychology at University of California, Riverside (UCR) desperately avoiding my Quals reading. After reading a comment on Slashdot I came to Rosetta Code to help out with the entries for R.  I learned Pascal in High School, and since have taught myself a little C, C++, OpenGL, and Perl.  As part of my educational process at UCR I was taught the basics for R and since have really embraced the language for statistical analysis and simulation.
