My introduction to programming was a few months of ALGOL 60 as part of a Mathematics degree.

Professionally, I used machine code then Autocode on an Elliott 803. Then assembler on a UNIVAC 418-III.

I worked for a short spell on a Molecular 18 machine in assembler.

Then, over a period of 36 years, used 360 Assembler, PL/1, COBOL, NATURAL, amongst others and finished up writing Teradata SQL and Utilities.

Now retired, with all the above long forgotten, I program for fun using mainly PHP and JavaScript.
