Talk:Extra primes

From Rosetta Code

What's the task?

I don't know what the task is supposed to be here unless it's to generate the first 32 'extra primes'. The Ring entry is wrong in any case as a lot of the numbers it's produced aren't even prime.

I've never heard of 'extra primes' before but, AFAICT, it's not something we've had previously.

Pending clarification, my Wren entry just generates the 36 extra primes under 10,000. --PureFox (talk) 18:20, 1 December 2020 (UTC)

I suspect he(?) means the sequence enumerated in OEIS:A062088 - Primes with every digit a prime and the sum of the digits a prime. Calmosoft is notorious for bad task names, sketchy task instructions, not bothering to check if tasks already exist and completely made-up sequence names. Frankly, I'm tired of putting in the effort to fix up his tasks since he puts so little into it. --Thundergnat (talk) 19:44, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for identifying the sequence. At least we have something now to check answers against. I think I'll mark the Ring entry as 'wrong' and ask him to clarify what he's expecting us to do here. --PureFox (talk) 21:34, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
