When I selected the "Lisp on the HOPL" link on http://rosettacode.org/wiki/Category:Lisp http://hopl.murdoch.edu.au/findlanguages2.prx?language=Lisp&which=byname responded with a 404 message. Shortening the URL to http://hopl.murdoch.edu.au/ displays an IIS7 Welcome banner page.
Does anyone here at Rosetta Code know the status of the HOPL or how to contact the organization that runs it?

- I believe User:Axtens knows them. --Michael Mol 23:43, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
It looks like the site is permanently down (one can't even reach the main page). The last useful entry in the Internet Wayback Machine is from December 5th, 2011. All other entries up to January 24th, 2013 (the last one) only captured the IIS7 Welcome banner page as mentioned by NeoPhyte Rep. --Andreas Perstinger (talk) 20:08, 16 January 2014 (UTC)
We are now LIVE (again). See the dev.to[1] announcement. Axtens (talk) 06:58, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
Just go to HOPL.info. Please that that is an HTTP not an HTTPS. We're still asking for HTTPS but it hasn't happened yet. Axtens (talk) 06:27, 17 April 2020 (UTC)
And in the event that you find any bugs there, please send the URL and the error message to hopl dot acquistions at gmail dot com. TIA. Axtens (talk) 06:30, 17 April 2020 (UTC)
So we finally did get HTTPS going and today someone sent us an erratum regarding information on a language. On the hand, a bit sad that we got something wrong. On the other hand, great that someone cared enough to correct us! Axtens (talk) 03:05, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
- Perhaps someone can repair the Language template and while they are at it expand the HOPL acronym in the Usage: table so Newbies understand the reference?
