Microsoft is a computer technology company whose developments include DOS, Windows, Visual Studio, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office, OS/2, and Xbox. In 2000, Microsoft was taken to court in an anti-trust case which was to split the company because of its apparent internet browser monopoly, but that decision was later overturned in an appeal.
