Lucid is a programming language. It may be used to instruct computers to accomplish a variety of tasks which may or may not be domain-specific.

The oldest dataflow programming language. It belongs to the ISWIM family of languages. The computations are expressed as manipulations of sequences (much like the Unix pipes model of computation.).
